Baha’i Marriage music and resources
A few days ago was my 27th wedding anniversary!
In honor of our anniversary, I wanted to share with you some resources on marriage that you may find useful:
- Birds of Love video – a couple of years ago, I asked friends to share their wedding photographs and was so touched by the many submissions I received.Several were from couples who have been married for over 40 years!
- Where There is Love video – this was the first video on the theme of marriage that my producer made 11 years ago.
- Marriage Booklet – a study guide that my husband and I created for couples to strengthen the love, joy and unity within their marriage.
- Birds of Love CD – a music album on the theme of love and marriage.
- ‘On Marriage’ a poem titled ‘On Marriage’ by Kahlil Gibran that was recorded from his well-known book The Prophet.The poem is beautifully recited by Arzhia Habibi and accompanied by a spontaneous piano piece that I composed a number of years ago.
- Marriage is Forever – Preparation Counts! by Susanne M. Alexander and Johanna Merritt Wu.
