Creating Infinite Bounty Art pieces

We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the release Infinite Bounty this week with an art sale and I wanted to share a little bit about the making of the art pieces.
As I was reflecting on the album and the songs on it, I thought it would be inspiring to combine my love of art and music to celebrate this occasion.  The cover of the Infinite Bounty CD is a deep green and silver ocean photograph and I wanted to use its colours, shapes and forms to create beautiful graphic representations of the themes in the music. For the 14 limited edition art pieces (only 8 remaining), therefore, I used a blend of varied greens, gold and silver acrylic paint, shaped into waves and swirls using only art knives, toothpicks and my fingers!  I added quotations from the songs on the art pieces to further highlight the words that inspired the music. The entire process was hypnotising, as when I create I go into a different zone where my focus is only the art.  It is profoundly healing and soothing.  Here is a link to the artwork on Etsy.
The abstract square art canvas below is created from silver, mint green and deep forest green acrylic paint.  I had a lot of fun with this one creating the waves depicting the ocean (this painting just sold)!  The quotation is taken from the track ‘Immerse Yourselves’.  You can listen to the piece below:
I am also having a lucky draw where the winner will receive an ‘Infinite Bounty’ digital album download plus a beaded bookmark from my collection.  To enter, kindly share this blog post on social media and write a comment on my previous blog post (here is the link) so I know you have shared it.  In one week I will choose a name from the comments section on that post.
