Announcing the release of ‘Solace of My Soul’ – my 4th single release from the album ‘The Divine Mystery’. The song is a newly translated poem written by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá that I set to music.
I am dedicating this piece to the memory of my dear cousin, Shoa Ehsani, who passed away last week. Kindly keep Shoa and his family in your prayers.

The last two phrases move me greatly and bring immense solace:
“Upon these broken-winged birds whose flight is slow.
Out of Thy tender mercy newfound wings bestow.”
I look forward to sharing the video for ‘Solace of My Soul’ next week!
I would also like to share with you a live interview that I recently recorded with Baha’i Blog. In the interview I discuss the joys and challenges of making the global singalong – ‘Waves of One Sea’, updates about the ‘The Divine Mystery’ and experiences of composing melodies with friends.

Dear Elika, hi friend sent me your recording of solace. It is very beautiful however there were a few spelling errors in the text. One was bomb for.balm. Another was bouncy for bounty. There were one or two others as well which I don’t recall at this time but I was sure you would want to know so you could correct them. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and your talent that you share so freely.
Thank you so much dear Shar. Could you please send me the link where you found these errors so that I can correct them? Was it on the video or on the blog? Many thanks again.
