What are you grateful for?

I have just sent a music gift download of a new composition, ‘Harm No Soul’, to friends on my mailing list for the Festival of Ayyam-i-Ha! I have invited the members of my mailing list to write something they are grateful for in the comments below.  I will randomly pick 10 names to give a gift album download code for ‘Meditations for the Fast’.
Check back on the last day of Ayyam-i-Ha as I will be posting 10 names to receive the gift album download codes.
Meanwhile I hope you are enjoying the new song.  The lyrics are below…
Happy Ayyam-i-Ha!

I am grateful for the amazing gift and means of serving Baha’u’llah, His broadening my vision and understanding in pioneering first with my young family and now in retirement.

I am grateful that Baha’u’llah spared me from making a terrible mistake in a relationship. And, although I am greatly saddened right now, I can see what a protection it was. I am grateful to the friends and family who have rallied around to support me through this ordeal. I am indeed very blessed.

I am extremely grateful to God for having given mankind the Internet and world-wide web so that communications can take place between contending peoples around the world.

I am extremely grateful to God for having given mankind the Internet and world-wide web so that communications can take place between contending peoples around the world. That it is bringing people closer together, and assisting in bringing the Kingdom of God on earth.

I am grateful for the blessing of a wonderful husband, stalwart and slightly crazy Baha’is in the rural area where I live, meaningful work, opportunities to serve the Inuit, those who watch over me from the next world, a safe place to call home, and hot running water…among other things!

We are grateful that our pioneering career brought us in touch with the wonderful, loving, and caring Ehsani family in Nairobi, Kenya, long before it flung wide its ramifications around the Globe, from China in the East to the United States in the West, and from Europe, in the North to the southern tip of Africa.

Gratefulness is best expressed through deeds. So even as I am grateful to God for the wonderful family & friends I have, I pray Baha’u’llah will guide us all to express our gratefulness in service to the Cause in the years ahead. “Let deeds, not words, be your adorning.”
