Remover of every anguish – a prayer for uncertain times

With so much suffering and unrest in the world right now, especially in Iran, I wanted to share a video with a prayer that I hope brings you solace.

This prayer, revealed by the Báb, has been a source of comfort for me in moments of sorrow and uncertainty. It is included on my album Fire and Gold, on the theme of tests and difficulties.

As someone with roots in Iran, the pain and upheaval there weigh heavily on my heart. One small way I feel able to contribute, and grateful to have the freedom to do so, is by sharing music and prayers in the hope that they may uplift hearts and bring a sense of calm.

Within the piece Remover of Every Anguish, a Hidden Word is also recited in Spanish. It reminds us that we are children of light, and that in times of distress we can turn to God for comfort and relief.

My hope is that this prayer offers you a quiet moment of peace and reassurance, wherever you may be listening.
