In honor of the Ascension of Bahá’u’lláh, I would like to share a new video titled, “The Hallowed Beauty”. The footage was filmed in the gardens surrounding the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh at the Bahà’í World Centre (listen closely at the beginning and end of the video for some beautiful bird song).

This song is from the album ‘Fire and Gold’. In addition, I would like to share two more videos that pay tribute to the life and teachings of Bahá’u’lláh:
1. Intimation – this song features the words of Bahá’u’lláh, describing the mystical event that marked the dawn of His revelation in the Siyáh-Chal. The video takes you on a visual journey from a photo of the Black Pit to the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh, symbolizing the transformative power of His Revelation.
2. The Ancient Beauty – a song invoking a number of the Titles of Bahá’u’lláh, reminding us of His glory and splendor Both of these songs are from my album ‘The Ancient Beauty’, a compilation created in honor of the bicentenary of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh.
The lyrics of the piece are as follows: O Man Of Two Visions! Close one eye and open the other. Close one to the world and all that is therein, and open the other to the hallowed beauty of the Beloved. -Bahá’u’lláh, The Hidden Words, Persian #12.
Grieve thou not over the troubles and hardships of this nether world, nor be thou glad in times of ease and comfort, for both shall pass away. This present life is even as a swelling wave, or a mirage, or drifting shadows. -‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, pages 177-178.
