A video to share corona virus myths for the UN/WHO

During these challenging times, I have been feeling the desire to create more than ever before.  The process of creating keeps me grounded and knowing that music brings solace to many souls inspires me to want to share more often.

As we are all at home around the globe, I will be sharing with friends on my music mailing list a song that I’ve been working on titled ‘Home of Peace’.  The words are from the well-known statement of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá: “My home is the home of peace. My home is the home of laughter and delight…”.

This is the first song I am recording for my next album which will be in honor of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. I look forward to sharing more with you about that project in the coming months.

The song is not complete as I plan to sing it as a duet with a male voice. In the meantime, my producer, Jarome Matthew, kindly worked on this draft so that we could share an initial recording with you now. We will further develop and arrange the final version of the song to be on the album when it is released next year.

A video for the UN/WHO

In other news…  When the UN and the World Health Organization put out a call for creatives to help get the word out about the facts about Coronavirus I jumped at the opportunity to join in and help create this video with some other musicians. The video is to help bust some coronavirus myths.  Watch it below…

My short part in the video is just after fact #4 at 0:35 but then I pop up again a couple of times! Glad to be a part of such an initiative.
