Melodies of the Nightingale for the Family CD re-released!

Melodies of the Nightingale for the Family has finally been re-released!  It has been about 2 years since it was out of stock and I was wondering for sometime whether or not to re-issue it.  A number of people wanted to purchase the CD especially on CDbaby but I didn’t feel it was worth reprinting at that time. The CD was produced in 2001 and since the arrangements are more simple compared to Fire and Gold and Birds of Love, I wasn’t sure how I felt about releasing my older music.  After several requests for it, Prosoul found a solution in ordering on demand any number of CDs that a bookstore would like to order.  It works beautifully for now as I didn’t want to release a large number of CDs once again given how much the music industry is changing.  The CD will eventually only be available digitally but until then you can find the Melodies of the Nightingale for the Family by clicking here.

    Dear Elika,
That is WONDERFUL news! I still remember how much we used to listen to your first Melodies of the Nightingale CD in Pune. There was this amazing young person, Vandana Kermani, who would listen to it over and over on her computer while working on her magazine and doing her Java programming. She eventually completed our very first youth magazine, Harmony, in late 1998, all the while playing your CD while working on it. That was one blessed computer!
We were SO happy when your second Melodies of the Nightingale CD came out. We got it when a friend from Malaysia, Naseem Lee-Foroughi, visited Pune in November 2002. I think we memorized all the Hidden Words and prayers on this CD within days! We were chanting them at our Nineteen Day Feasts, during performances and all Holy Days. Our devotional meetings became much more musical and inspiring.
Thank you, dear Elika, for your music. We love you! 🙂

Thanks Jalehjoon. I think you still have quite a few copies of your own left – right?
Hi Sarmad – that is such a sweet story. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I’m so glad you all memorized the prayers and Hidden Words and used them at gatherings to inspire others. These stories give me even more encouragement to continue what I’m doing and create more music! 😀
