So happy you are recording more songs. I receive so much joy from “Fire & Gold.”
Usually I hum classical music or the latest catchy tunes, but of late I find it is all Fire and Gold. The Bird … is superb, the prayer for the departed has such a tender melody and really really touches the heart and the Ney in track no. 3 is masterful in the mixing of the instrument and the human voice.

Really well done and let’s have some more.

Hey Elika,
I have been listening to your CDs since i was a child and it has been an inspiration for me to chant them during devotional meetings. At any devotional meeting when i play this your CDs it touches the heart of everyone listening to it….but i have a suggestion…im very involved in conducting JY classes and in these JY classes especially Glimmerings of Hope they encourage the youth to memorize prayers…every lesson there is one prayer…so i use your CD as a source to teach them the prayer from the book using your CD…and they pick it up so quickly….even when im on my service here in Thailand although they know just a little bit of english they have the urge the chant them just like the CD….so this is my suggestion….if possible please compose chants using the prayers in the JY books….it would be great that your CD can help them memorize those prayers and hidden words…best of luck in composing more CDs…
