Duet in English & Spanish

‘Lay Not on Any Soul’ is a collaboration with talented musician, Ali Youssefi, who sings his part beautifully in Spanish.  Composing duets is a passion of mine as I love the intermingling of languages and how they influence each other.  At 1:52 magic happens when our voices harmonise together as the song builds.  At the end of the piece you can hear how the two languages mesh with one another in one voice of unity.
I chose to set these potent words to music as it is an important reminder for how we should care for one another as family members of one human race.
